Experienced Data and Technology Executive To Continue To Strengthen Cisive’s Screening and Workforce Monitoring Solutions
Cisive, a leading provider of technology and compliance-driven background screening, workforce risk management, and data services, today announced it has appointed Brian Matthews as Chief Executive Officer. Matthews succeeds Margaret Keane, who will continue to serve on Cisive’s Board of Directors.
Two Decades of Data and Technology Leadership
Matthews brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in the data and technology industries, including deep expertise within the background screening industry. He previously served as CEO of itel, where he led the strategic transformation of the business, evolving the company from a services-focused offering to a premier data and analytics platform serving the P&C insurance industry. Before itel, Matthews served as President of Appriss Insights, a leading SaaS data analytics platform and data provider to background screening, legal, government, healthcare, and commercial clients. Prior to Appriss, he held leadership roles at technology companies including eOriginal, Verint, and Vubiquity. Matthews will work with Cisive’s leadership team to strengthen the Company’s screening and workforce monitoring solutions, helping customers make informed hiring decisions, meet compliance requirements and support safer workplaces.
Building on Margaret Keane’s Leadership
Keane first joined Cisive’s Board of Directors in 2022, prior to her appointment as CEO. Under her leadership as CEO, Cisive further strengthened its market position in regulated industries, including healthcare, transportation, and financial services. She also oversaw significant investments in the Company’s technology and AI initiatives, strategic partnerships and leadership team build out.
