Cisive is an investigative consumer reporting agency that prepares and processes "investigative consumer reports" about California residents (i.e., consumer reports containing information about an individual's character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living) to employers for their use for employment purposes, including whether to hire, promote, or retain an individual.
